Driven by unyielding penance and led by a whip-bearing mistress, they charge headlong into the enemy, wielding roaring eviscerators with reckless abandon. Their scarred bodies and tattered vestments speak of sins unspoken, yet their fury burns brighter than any prayer. To witness their charge is to see faith at its most desperate, for they fight to die, and in dying, to be forgiven.
